Evren & Murvet Engagement Shoot

I must say it was lot of fun spending our day with Murvet and Evren. They are very active, open, and romantic…and there was nothing they weren't willing to do in order to capture the moment. Murvet was striking poses as though she's done it many times before. While we were taking photos at the beach the flies got the best of us, so we had to shoot fast and run away from water. Murvet and Evren however remained very patient and cooperative even though the swarm kept getting out of control. It was a good thing that it was our last shooting location for the day. We are really looking forward to their wedding day and spending more time with them. We are currently working ont their love-story film which will be released on the blog real soon, so keep your eyes open for it.

Vlad + Luda Wedding Album

Some time back we photographed Vlad and Luda's wedding in Oshawa, Ontario. They have really prioritized time for pictures and so we started photography at 7am with the bride maids preping up and carried through the remainder of the day until almost 2 am. I believe it was the longest, single photo-shoot we have done -- the party just never seemed to end! We have put together an album that summarizes their day.

Jim & Hatice Wedding Day.

Two weeks ago we had the privilege of partaking in the wedding celebration of Jim and Hatice. Although the morning forecast seemed a little gloomy for the day, we were happy that the guys at the weather station misread their charts as the day turned out great in the end. The Club and Bond Head was an ideal location for bridal shots, and golfers as well. Driving around the course in golf carts taking pictures of the bridal party was awesome, but we had to hang on tight because Anastasia and I were facing the opposite way while lead-footed drivers spun around on their joy ride. Even though Jim and Hatice stayed away from the barn hay this time, they were a real treat to photograph. I wish Jim and Hatice all the best as they start their lives together. Shlomo & Tania Engagement

It was an absolutely stunning day for engagement photos in Stratford, ON. Tania and Shlomo were an easy-going couple and a true delight to photograph. We had originally planned to shoot only in the Shakespearean town, but on our way we drove past an extraordinarily, breath-taking field. As it turned out, an elderly bystander informed us that it was blooming canola. A very splendid day, indeed.

Our first blog entry!

Subbotin Photography has finally launched its first blog site. It appears that blogging is the buzz word now a days and everyone is doing it. After many, agonizing months of contemplating and debating over whether blogging would take us anywhere, we decided to at least give it a shot. So we believe that it would be appropriate to express our motives in establishing this site. Ultimately, we want to connect our passion for photography with others. Very often during consultations brides inquire about what 'other' brides are looking for that will set them apart and make their wedding day or engagement stand out from the rest. This blog is dedicated to all brides (and grooms) that make everything we do possible.

We hope to make this an enjoyable environment for all because it's you that make the difference.
