Jeff & Karen's Wedding Memories Highlights

Jeff and Karen flew in from San Fransisco to host their special day here in Toronto. The day was filled with non-stop action and non-stop outfit changes. If I'm not mistaken, Karen changed her outfit four times! At the bride's home, Jeff encountered a barricade of hyped-up and pressingly demanding security guards-of-the-bride seeking monetary remuneration, fear-factor style activities, and other exciting games. He was forced to eat and drink all kinds of things lest his bride remain arrested.

The dragon dancers were by far the best we have seen, choreographing every single move and step with just meticulous precision. All-in-all the wedding day was filled with excitement and tradition. The wedding video highlights their day. Enjoy.

Orin & Lisa Wedding Photo Montage

Several weeks ago we had the chance to shoot Lisa and Orin's wedding photos. Many of Orin's family flew in from Vancouver and spent the whole weekend in Toronto. Unfortunately we did not have a lot of time to shoot the bridal party photos because of the rain, but the short time that we had was fast-paced and exciting as we were always on the move - I felt like a drill sergeant. We've compiled a photo montage highlighting their awesome day.

Re: Jeff & Karen's Wedding Day Highlights

Late last week we posted Jeff and Karen's Wedding Day Video Highlights but have removed it temporarily.  Some visitors who had a sneak peek of the video have emailed us asking where the video disappeared.  We are updating their video, along with some others, and will repost them shortly.  Stay tuned!

Evan & Nicole's Engagement Shoot

I think everyone can appreciate this insanely busy time of year. All the talk of vacation (for some that's all it is - talk), the unanticipated family reunions, as it turns out now is the best time to buy a car, and not the best time to buy a house, and of course - weddings, weddings, and more weddings. We have been spending so much time in the studio and on location that we cannot remember what our kitchen looks like. I'll say a very stressful, but a very exciting time.

A couple weeks ago we met with Evan and Nicole - right away I felt tension. As we arrived to our first location Nicole seemed a little worried. I guess she didn't know what to expect, but I must say, she picked up the whole idea of posing and having fun real quickly. They also brought along Jeremiah, their super-cute son, who wasn't very impressed with the whole idea of pictures, but played along. I've added some photos from the shoot for a sneak peek.

Caisar & Avin Wedding

Wow! What a wedding! The event was extremely rich with culture and tradition. Traditions were essential in the wedding day. Every detail of the day, from morning to night had special meaning to it. I must say that it was the most energetic and non-stop dancing party we have attended by far. One of the most memorable event was when the entire family of the groom (which let me tell you is huge), excluding the groom, went to pick up the bride at her house and escort her to ceremony. They came into the building with drums, and instruments - singing, and dancing…it was a real celebration. In face it was so enticing that I was tempted to join them in dancing. Their wedding day was a real blast.

We have posted some photos from the spectacular day in digital lomographic post-processing. Although the whole album was not completely processed with this effect, we wanted to try something new. Tell us what you think.

Todd & Claire Photo Montage

Todd and Claire's wedding pictures have been posted on our website for some time now, but we put together a photomontage to summarize the special, gazing moments of their wedding day. Their bridal party was an absolute blast and made the day a fun, energetic, and playful experience. Todd's brothers were always coming up with unique posing stunts during the day, but the best by-far was the reenactment of some bystander's foot getting stuck in the track switch rail. Have a glimpse.

Evren & Murvet Engagement Shoot

I must say it was lot of fun spending our day with Murvet and Evren. They are very active, open, and romantic…and there was nothing they weren't willing to do in order to capture the moment. Murvet was striking poses as though she's done it many times before. While we were taking photos at the beach the flies got the best of us, so we had to shoot fast and run away from water. Murvet and Evren however remained very patient and cooperative even though the swarm kept getting out of control. It was a good thing that it was our last shooting location for the day. We are really looking forward to their wedding day and spending more time with them. We are currently working ont their love-story film which will be released on the blog real soon, so keep your eyes open for it.
